Bright sunshine made this special joint gathering with our patient aftercare group “Löwenbande” and our siblings’ group on April 24, 2026, a perfect success.
Thanks to a fundraising campaign by GFZ Hettstedt and the table tennis department of MSV Hettstedt, our association, in collaboration with Guido Burgemeister from BigPoint11, was able to fulfill our wish for a new outdoor table tennis table for our garden. In addition, we also received rackets, balls, and other equipment so that we can make full use of it with our children and families.
On Friday, the official inauguration took place with the kids from our two groups as well as representatives from GFZ Hettstedt and MSV Hettstedt.
The kids were taught a few basics of table tennis, which, of course, had to be put into practice right away at the table.
Our sports garden also invited everyone to play soccer before we wrapped up the afternoon with a game and some socializing.
It was an all-around successful afternoon with our new table tennis table, for which we are very grateful!
