A special highlight of the weekend was the Tour of Hope, which made a stop in Halle.
Well over a hundred cyclists, including many celebrities from the worlds of sports and television such as Henry Maske and Felix Magath, pedaled hard and took part in the charity bike tour to benefit children and teenagers with cancer in Germany.
The tour takes place regularly in different regions and this year wound its way through eastern Germany.
The goal is to raise funds and draw attention to the unique situation faced by families with children battling cancer.
Of course, our association was also on site at the start of the stage on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at the HAVAG grounds in Halle, where we joined several families in cheering on the cyclists and seeing them off on their route.
The tour raised an incredible total of 1.444 million euros, which will now be distributed among various projects for children and adolescents with cancer in Germany.
What a wonderful show of support in the fight against cancer—it gives us hope!
