On Friday, November 21, 2025, patients at the pediatric clinics of Halle University Hospital were able to escape their daily routine and immerse themselves in exciting stories on the occasion of National Reading Aloud Day.
A reading took place in the children's oncology playroom, to which the Freundeskreis Halle – Karlsruhe e.V. (Friends of Halle-Karlsruhe Association) had invited us. The stories offered a welcome change for the younger and older children.
Afterwards, representatives of the Freundeskreis Halle-Karlsruhe e.V. even presented our association with a donation check for €300. The money was raised during a campaign at the Lantern Festival in Halle. It will be used to purchase new games and books for the children in the ward.
