After summer temperatures of over 40 degrees Celsius in June, our 30th Charity Summer Festival was finally able to take place on September 18, 2026, on our second attempt.
From 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., visitors to the market square in Halle were able to enjoy the colorful program and get to know our organization better. Various musical and dance performances, as well as donation presentations and interviews, enriched our stage program and created a lively atmosphere, good cheer, and some truly moving moments.
For all our young guests, there was plenty to experience at the arts-and-crafts booth, the face-painting station, the volunteer fire department, the children’s construction site, and the bounce house.
At our raffle, many lucky winners took to the stage to claim their grand prizes and were delighted to receive items such as a new tablet or gift certificates.
Our association’s information booth, as well as that of the Halle Foundation for the Support of Children with Cancer, invited visitors to ask questions and learn about our services. Cancer cells could be examined more closely under the UMH microscope.
We would like to take this opportunity to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who, in so many different ways, once again helped make this festival a special highlight of the year.

Thank you to Udo Becker for hosting the event, to all the performers, those who helped set up and take down the stage, the volunteers who staffed the booths, donors of cash, raffle prizes, and cakes, as well as to the association’s board, our team, and the foundation for this wonderful day for young and old alike!
A total of 5,362,- € was raised, which will now be reinvested in our daily work on the ward and our various programs.
