The 29th charity summer party of our association for the support of children with cancer Halle/Saale e.V. once again lived up to its name this year. On the longest day of the year, 21.06.2025, in bright sunshine and summery temperatures of over 30°C, the Kinderplanetarier invited guests to a colorful supporting program on the market square in Halle/Saale to draw attention to themselves and their work with children with cancer and their families.
Together with the Director of the Clinic for Pediatrics I Prof. Dr. med. Simone Hettmer, our CEO Andreas Domaske opened the festival at 11 a.m. on the dot.
Afterwards, an entertaining stage program with many different performances by young and old artists ensured a good atmosphere, while next to the stage, visitors could find out about the work of the association over coffee and cake and even marvel at cancer cells under the microscope. Our younger guests were able to let off steam on the bouncy castle, the Papenburg children's construction site or with the Halle-Neustadt youth fire department. For all those who like it colorful and creative, the craft stand and face painting were just right. Many lucky winners were able to look forward to books, toys or great vouchers at our raffle.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who contributed to making our summer party a complete success once again - THANK YOU to all the great artists on and off the stage, to all the companies and donors for great raffle prizes, cake donations and other forms of support, to all the helping hands who were involved in the preparations, setting up and dismantling and at the individual stands and on the stage for our association. And of course a huge thank you to all the guests who celebrated this day with us and made it so colorful!
