The elective course “Sustainability and the Future” for 10th graders at Hans-Dietrich-Genscher-Gymnasium in Halle took a closer look at chocolate production during the school year and critically examined the widespread use of child labor in this context.
This led to the idea of doing something good for children.
Together, they molded their own specially designed “Genscher coins” out of chocolate and sold them at school in exchange for donations to our association. They raised €200!
It is always especially heartwarming for us to see young people already standing up for our children and families. We would like to express our sincere thanks for this commitment and wish them all the best for the future!
