On February 28, 2026, Nadine Haak and the Hettstedt Carnival Society (HKG) hosted the 13th charity gala for children with cancer.
In the beautiful hall of Helfta Abbey, the HKG once again offered an entertaining evening program. Among those in attendance were countless companies and donors from the region, as well as representatives of our association and our foundation for the support of children with cancer.
Nadine Haak and the HKG, as well as many other supporters such as the darts club “Die Wickelschlacken,” “Susi's Salon,” René Goldhammer, and Sandra Scharnau, have made it their mission to collect donations for our association through various campaigns, which were then presented to our association at the grand charity gala.
We have always been impressed by the commitment, motivation, and dedication of all the organizers and donors, who manage to exceed the total amount donated in the previous year year after year.
When the time came last Saturday and the total amount was announced, however, everyone was speechless. The donation check was for €55,444, which was ultimately increased to €55,500. This means that the 2025 donation total of €39,111 has been surpassed once again!
We are touched by the great willingness to donate in our region and the associated sympathy for the fate of our little heroes.
